Photographing Families makes my heart sing.

Whether you're a family of two or 28 (I love working with extended families!), your family is worth documentation. I'm a mom to four children, and while many days drag on and on, I can attest first-hand to how quickly the years are flying with them. I'm also an only child who lost both of my parents suddenly a couple years ago, so I deeply cherish the photos I have with them, and always wish I had more.

At your family session, we'll certainly get the "everyone looking and smiling" photo, but I'm after so much more. My goal is to document the beauty, connection, and joy that is unique to your family dynamic. I'll guide you from start to finish with wardrobe suggestions prior (if you want that!), and prompts throughout your session to bring out your best. The result will be a very no-stress, fun-focused time to connect with your loved ones in a beautiful location. A lady with a camera will just happen to be there. 😉

My portfolio below has LOTS of examples - take a look around to see if my style fits what you hope for your family's photos. I love to shoot analog film (can you spot the film photos??) but also opt for digital at times depending on lighting/location. Please let me know if you have a strong preference for either medium.
